FAQ

Questions U.S. teams ask us.

The most common questions about how Opshift works. Something else on your mind? Ask us on a call.

Who is the employee's employer?

Opshift. Your teammate is formally employed by Opshift in Mexico, with payroll, benefits and HR administration handled by us. They work full-time and exclusively with your team.

Who directs their day-to-day work?

You do. You set priorities, train them on your processes and give them access to your tools. Opshift manages everything around the work: attendance, check-ins, coaching, reporting and HR.

How good is their English?

Every candidate goes through an English and communication assessment before you see them, and you interview the finalists yourself before anyone is hired.

What hours do they work?

Your business hours. Mexico is within 2 hours of every U.S. time zone, so your teammate joins your meetings and answers in real time.

What happens if it's not the right fit?

Tell your account manager. In the first 30 days, we replace them at no cost. After that, a replacement search has a small fee. Either way, we search from our existing candidate pipeline and the new hire onboards from the documented role, so you don't start over.

How do I know what they're working on?

You get a weekly summary every Friday, a monthly scorecard with KPIs against targets, and a quarterly review. Your account manager is one message away in between.
